Lebanese singer Alissa has just returned from Paris, where she attended
a special fashion show for internationally well-known Lebanese fashion
designer Eli Saab. The fashion show was part of the Fashion Week
festival for the Fall and Winter season 2005/2006.
According to the London based Elaph, Alissa also attended the show held
by Channel Fashion House. During her stay in Paris, the singer met a
number of internationally well-known stars and held several interviews
with different western media like Fashion TV.

Journalists who held
interviews with Alissa did not know she was a famous Arab singer, but
rather wanted to interview her because they felt she was an
exceptionally beautiful woman.
Alissa recently held a spectacular performance at the Cairo Opera house
in an event organized by the Arab satellite channel Infinity and under
the patronage of Egypt’s first lady Suzan Mubarak.
All proceeds from the event went directly to the Children’s Cancer
Hospital in Cairo.
Tickets were sold out well in advance, and VIP figures and artists from
Egypt attended the remarkably successful event.
In an interview with Infinity TV, who aired a live broadcast of the
event, Alissa stated that she was honored to sing for such a worthy
cause and was overwhelmed by the success of her performance.
The singer stated that she hopes politicians will devote more attention
to problems faced by the younger generations and offer more employment
opportunities; otherwise they will look abroad for a chance to build a
better future.
