The upcoming album "Bastanak" (I’m Waiting for you) by Lebanese singer
Alissa is soon to be released by production company ‘Rotana,’ featuring
twelve new romantic songs.
Internationally renowned American photographer Matthews Claimer designed
the album’s cover.
According to the London based Elaph, Alissa filmed the music video for
the song "Bastanak" in the Czech Republic under the direction of
American Brandon Derkson, marking their second cooperation, the first
was for the song "Irja Lil Shouq" (Return to Love).

Alissa is scheduled to be
in Egypt to hold a grand performance at the Four Seasons Hotel in Cairo
in celebration of Valentine’s Day along with Lebanese singer Wael Jassar
and Egyptian singer Hatem Fahmi.
Alissa is known to be very popular in Egypt and her last album "Kul Youm
Fi Umri" (Every Day in my Life) witnessed high record sales.
A major production company is striving to convince Alissa to accept the
leading role in the new film "Al Hares" (The Guard), directed by Amro
Arafeh. The film also stars prominent Egyptian actors Hussein Fahmi and
Majed Al Masri.
Alissa has hesitated to enter the acting world, and has not revealed
weather she will accept the role.
The new commercial Alissa filmed with American pop star Christina
Agelera for the international soft drink company Pepsi is soon to be
released.
