A major production company is striving to convince Lebanese singer
Alissa to accept the leading role in the new film “Al Hares” (The
Guard), directed by Amro Arafeh. The film also stars prominent Egyptian
actors Hussein Fahmi and Majed Al Masri.
According to the Saudi based daily, Al Riyadh, Alissa has hesitated to
enter the acting world, and has not revealed weather she will accept the
role.

Recently, Alissa appeared

Arab satellite channel MBC. During the interview Alissa stated that she
cherishes family values and dreams of one day becoming a mother. She
would like to name her first child Tareq or Omar, adding that she hopes
this dream will come true in the near future.
Alissa also revealed that her favorite male singers are Ragheb Alama,
Fadel Shaker, and Amr Diab. Her favorite female singers include Warda,
the late Umm Kalthoum, Fairouq, and Nancy Ajram.
The singer is scheduled to hold a New Year’s Eve concert at the Rotana
